Dishes washed.

Vegetable stock simmering.

Artisan dough rising.

And it’s not even 10am…

I had a dream last night in which, among other things…

- it was summertime

- I had a dog

- I was doing quite a lot of photo sessions

- I made a return trip to Addis Ababa and while there I went for a run, in the rain. I remember thinking, as I ran, “Swahili is a whole lot easier to learn than Amharic”. Go figure.

Also, in my dream, my camera’s memory card was acting up and my Firefox favorites were all wonky, so it wasn’t all sunshine and puppies. But it was entirely from my brain.

All things considered, my life is fairly wonderful at the moment. But I’m feeling restless and tired of winter. February tends to have that affect on people.
