I call him HAL

Our old behemoth of a TV gave up the ghost on Friday, and through a series of crazy random happenstances, we were able to get a great deal on a new HDTV, Blu-Ray player and speaker system. We have been totally spoiled blessed. I will never look at television the same way again.

Pretty! I house- sat for my parents the past two weeks, who have an HDTV, and feel like I’m missing out now (even though WCSH6 is the only station actually broadcasting in digital).

I felt the same way when I came here. HDTV/Blu-Ray is just incredible!

The Food Network is absolutely mesmerizing in HD. I could watch that for hours…

We were watching Australia tonight, and Hannah said the quality was so amazing she kept expecting to smell the sweat and beer breath :-P

No lie, the TV user manual opened to the page “End of Life Directives”. Which is supposed to give you instructions for taking care of the TV when it’s broken, but also succeeds in being veeeeery creepy.

Oh, no kidding!! That’s the first thing I told my husband: “You *have* to watch the Food Network… the food is so beautiful, everything just looks tastier!” :D
