“Nope,” I answered. “That’s a week’s supply for six people.”
The older woman kindly shook her head and told me, “Well, I certainly wouldn’t want your grocery bill.”
Maybe not, but you wouldn’t believe the muscles I’ve built lugging this cart around on a weekly basis.

Tonight: “Finger Food Friday” (sweet potato fries, asparagus, and spinach-stuffed mushrooms)
Saturday: Fried Eggplant with Sliced Tomatoes and Roasted Green Beans
Sunday: Smoky Refried Bean Soup [so, so yummy]
Monday: Sweet Potato and Black Bean Burritos
Tuesday: Vegetarian Chili and Skillet Cornbread
Wednesday: Cauliflower and Black Bean Stew
Thursday: TLT’s (Tofu, Lettuce and Tomato Sandwiches)
