Mark asked:

I came across your Prayer of St Basil.

I am thinking about setting to music for a Compline service. What source did you get it from? Did you translate it yourself?

Hi Mark,

I pulled the prayer from a website several years ago, to which I have lost the original link. A quick Google search revealed that it is cited on several Anglican and Catholic websites, so I can only assume that it is genuine and the translation is near accurate. Hope that helps!

Awww, what a sweet picture! Stephie’s coat sure was a lot lighter when she was little.

Thanks, John!

But that’s not Stephanie in the photo ;-) That’s Scully’s fourth kitten and Miko, Stephanie, and PJ’s brother, Anderson. When I have the time I hope to create a page on the site for Scully and her kittens. Anderson was the only kitten to find a forever home away from us, where he is very loved and very spoiled. He shares his home with another cat named Kitty and his hooman parents, who (being avid Red Sox fans) gave him a new name: Schilling. For Schilling’s birthday, we sent him a special gift. Looks like he really enjoyed it, dontcha think?
