Try Make Something Day
(I haven’t rhymed that much since the third grade)
While I don’t necessarily endorse the website, I do think they’re on to something; this year after the feasting and festivities, I look forward to a quiet day spent creating. But what to do…
Should I once more try my hand at knitting?
Should I break out the sewing machine?
Should it be Christmas-y, like decorations? Or should I go for something fun and silly, like a papier-mâché hat?
If you were to make something, what would it be?

Depends on how much you like knitting or sewing. Me, I’m solidly into my usual Lenten project, the Golden Tikhvin Theotokos. 800 stitches so far this week, 400 of them today!
What would I make? Actually, the anthropologist in me has been wanting to embroider an Ainu design to put on some kind of bag or backpack…but that’s just me. Good luck with whatever you pick!
