academia
You know, the class you need to fulfill credits while at the same time not dragging down your GPA? I’m convinced that it doesn’t exist. Because every time I sign up for a so-called ‘fluff’ class it ends up being the most time consuming and mentally exhausting of all my classes.
And yet, I need to find something that will fulfill three credits next semester. Just one class. Or three exercise classes which…well, I think I’ll have better luck with the academic side of things.
My classes within the department next semester consist of one Geography class and two Biological Anthropology classes. Despite my intended focus on cultural anthropology the major requirements dictate otherwise.
Losers.

I’m back and my trip was wonderful. A relaxing weekend hanging out with one of my closest friends. And yet…as I sat around her apartment, I kept waiting for a cat or a rabbit or some other furry thing to come around the corner. I worried about exposed electrical cords, leftover food, and small chokeable items left on the floor, until I realized that there was no one there to chew (or choke) on them. It wasn’t so much that I missed my own furkids, but that I had a hard time feeling at home without an animal around. A strange feeling, for sure.
