I realize that the majority of my blogging is done when I’m not doing something I should be doing, like writing a paper or cleaning my room. Which I suppose means that my lack of blogging is an indication that I’m not procrastinating.

Or something like that.

Here’s what I’ve been doing to make the most of my winter break:

- curriculum planning

- recreational reading, a long forgotten pleasure. I bought The Tale of Despereaux for my 12 year old sister and we’ve just started reading it together.

- photography

- catching up with friends

- planning our rockin’, sockin’ New Year’s Eve party

- catching up on all those movies I’ve been missing out on. Pirates of the Caribbean? Not as bad as I was expecting. An Inconvenient Truth? Al Gore’s self-promoting vignettes aside, it’s very compelling.
