How many times has someone on your friends list posted about something and you were really confused, but you didn’t want to ask because you knew you SHOULD know? How many times have you felt ‘guilty’ asking a close LJ friend a question that should be ‘obvious’?

Well, here’s your chance:

If you’ve missed a few things, missed an entry and are confused, ask me any thing. Even something EXTREMELY basic, like where I live! I’m not allowed to get even slightly irritated at any of the questions – we’ve all missed things before. In turn, though, you must repost this in your own journal.

Summer vacation is progressing as it should, I suppose. In my free time I’m swimming and reading and eating far too much barbecued meat. I’ve been picking up extra hours at work when I can, to have money for things like textbooks, vet bills, and a car (man…do I need a car) I’m enjoying my self-directed days, setting my own schedule, getting things done without feeling stressed.

The heat wave finally broke and these last few days have been perfect: warm days and cool evenings with their clear, starry skies. I love going swimming after dark and floating there under the night sky, letting the world melt away and feeling like a very small part of the cosmos. This is what summer vacation is all about – being in the moment. Knowing that there is a season for everything. All too soon will come the season for hard work and studying, but this is the season for relaxation and renewal.

In summer, the song sings itself.
