I feel like…

I’m not ready to be back.

It’s overwhelming.

I miss everyone.

I’m wandering around aimlessly (though that’s probably the allergies and the jet lag).

And I know that it sounds like I’m sad, but I’m not. I do miss the team and I miss Africa. But I am so glad to see my family, and my friends, and yes, even my cats. I am glad that I can brush my teeth using the tap water. I am glad that I can simply open my fridge and eat whatever I want. I am glad that I have clean clothes once more.

But being back here, back “home”…I feel like a stranger in a strange land.
